Consultation on submitted Neighbourhood Development Plan
The Monks Kirby Neighbourhood Development Plan was submitted to Rugby Borough Council on 13 September 2022.
A public consultation on the plan, run in accordance with the Neighbourhood Planning General Regulations 2012 (Regulation 16), ran from Tuesday 1 November to Tuesday 13 December 2022.

24 August 2022 - Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) screening determination statement
Following consultation with statutory consultees, it has been determined neither a full Strategic Environmental Assessment nor a Habitat Regulations Assessment will be required for the Neighbourhood Plan.
7 June 2021 - Decision
The application to designate the parish of Monks Kirby as a Neighbourhood Area was approved by Rugby Borough Council's cabinet on 7 June 2021.
3 December 2020 - Application
Monks Kirby Parish Council submitted an application to Rugby Borough Council in December 2020 for the designation of the parish as a Neighbourhood Area under the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012.
Subject to the designation of the Neighbourhood Area, the parish council intends to prepare a Neighbourhood Plan to help shape the future development of the village.
