The council's housing team joined forces with Rugby Art Gallery and Museum to hold an arts and crafts session at our independent living accommodation in Dunchurch.
Residents at Edmondson Court enjoyed a two-hour session run by the art gallery and museum's education team, unleasing creativity to make cards and boxes perfect for a gift to friends of family.
Let your Independent living co-ordinator know if you're interested in getting involved and we'll bring the sessions to you.
Cracking down on anti-social behaviour
Housing officers from the council worked with Warwickshire Police to serve a closure order on a council property in Coton Park which had become a magnet for anti-social behaviour.
The order, which prohibits anyone from entering the property for three months, was secured at Coventry Magistrates Court on Wednesday 26 October.
During the order's duration, the council intends to seek and serve a possession order on the property.
The council rarely has to resort to court action when dealing with anti-social behaviour involving tenants. We have a range of measures to tackle problems and ensure all our tenants abide by the terms of the tenancy agreement : "All council tenants have a responsibility not to cause harrassment, alarm or distress to others."
You can find out more information on how we deal with anti-social behaviour - and what you should do if you're experiencing anti-social behaviour - on the council's website.
