Big Tidy Up tackles litter on the Black Path
THE Big Tidy Up tackles litter on the Black Path this Saturday - and residents have been urged to lend a hand.

The event has been organised by Keep Rugby Tidy, a new campaign launched
by community-spirited residents keen to help keep Rugby clean.
With support from the council and a number of businesses, the Big Tidy Up takes place from 10am to 12 noon, targeting litter on the Black Path and banks of the River Avon off Technology Drive.
A team of volunteers from GE, in Boughton Road, have signed up for the litter pick, supported by staff from the council, Tesco and McDonald's.
And volunteers keen to lend a helping hand can join the Big Tidy Up by meeting organisers at the control centre, based on the Junction One retail park's car park by Cineworld.
All volunteers receive suitable safety gear and litter sacks for the event.
Keep Rugby Tidy was the brainchild of GE's Vicky Murphy, who was inspired to act after regularly spotting litter during her lunch time walk to Tesco.
After securing the council's support via Twitter, Vicky was contacted by fellow Rugby resident Hannah Stephen, of Compleo Cleaning, and Keep Rugby Tidy was born.
"After meeting with the council, we teamed up with local businesses and have now organised the Big Tidy Up," Vicky said.
"Hopefully we can make a difference and give local employees somewhere nice to spend their lunch hour."
