The fun starts on Saturday (18 January) with a free Love Heart Hunt, which runs throughout the week.

Children can join a sensory search of the Art Gallery and Museum, finding the hidden love hearts and describing the texture of each heart for the chance to win a prize.

On Tuesday (21 January), Little Discoveries - Mini Explorers runs from 11am to 12 noon, offering under-fives a free sensory play session with a host of animal-inspired activities.

Also on Tuesday, a Terrific Trophies drop-in session runs from 2pm to 4pm, giving youngsters the chance to look at the trophies currently on display in the Our Sporting Life exhibition before using recycled materials to create a trophy worthy of a champion.

A free Inflatable Creations drop-in session takes place on Wednesday (22 January), with the centrepiece of the Sculpting The Museum exhibition, artist Mike Shaw's giant inflatable sculpture, INF21, providing the inspiration for children to make an inflatable masterpiece from balloons, felt and paper to take home.

On Thursday (23 February) Rugby Art Gallery and Museum hosts an NHS Day Antiques Roadshow, where parents can bring along NHS-related items such as baby tags, spectacles and even false teeth to be photographed for inclusion in a virtual museum.

Children visiting the free Roadshow, which runs from 1pm to 4pm, can take part in NHS-themed craft activities and dressing up.

The half-term holiday activities come to a close on Friday 24 and Saturday 25 February, when Paint & Glaze sessions take place from 10.30am to 2.30pm.

Visitors can paint and glaze cups, plates and more at the drop-in sessions, with prices starting from £8.

In addition to the half-term activities, the World Rugby Hall of Fame opens throughout the school holiday with free admission.

Visitors to the Hall of Fame during the week also have the chance to win a World Rugby kit bag, complete with rugby balls and accessories.
