The Government has launched Homes for Ukraine to allow residents to become a 'sponsor' and offer a home to refugees fleeing Ukraine.

Welcome Payment
From 3 May 2022, Warwickshire County Council administers the £200 welcome payment for people arriving from Ukraine under the Homes for Ukraine scheme.
Guests receive a code which allows the payment to be collected from a Post Office. The county council intends to contact all sponsors with more details.

The charity Barnardo's has launched a dedicated Ukrainian Support Helpline to offer a holistic support service to people who have fled Ukraine.
The helpline has access to Ukrainian and Russian interpreters, and can be contacted on 0800 148 8586 (10am to 8pm, Monday to Friday, 10am to 3pm on Saturdays).
