Housing officers from the council worked with Warwickshire Police to serve a closure order on a council property in Coton Park which had become a magnet for anti-social behaviour.
During the order's duration, the council intends to seek and serve a possession order on the property.
The council rarely has to resort to court action when dealing with anti-social behaviour involving tenants. We have a range of measures to tackle problems and ensure all our tenants abide by the terms of the tenancy agreement : "All council tenants have a responsibility not to cause harrassment, alarm or distress to others."

Organised by Rugby First, the switch-on celebration runs from 12 noon to 6pm, with live music, dance, children's entertainment and Santa's grotto.
