Bin collections
The recycling (blue-lid bin) collections in Houlton due to take place last Thursday (5 December) have now been rescheduled for today (Wednesday 11 December).
Please leave your bins out for collection.
The night of ocean adventure takes place on Friday 26 May, with wave after wave of fun, creative activities to keep the whole family engaged and entertained.
Ocho, a giant inflatable octopus, emerges from the dark depths for a special guest appearance at a Night At Your Museum.
Visitors can dive into creativity by making coral out of recycled materials to help build a neon-lit reef, while the Marine Conservation Society offers the opportunity to make a model dolphin and colour crustaceans.
Scientists from the University of Warwick can help visitors make a submarine and learn how science makes a sub submerge and rise to the surface, while a pirate tells tales of his perilous adventures on the high seas through poetry recitals.
A photo booth gives visitors the chance to transform into a pirate or mermaid, with face-painting inspired by the seven seas also on offer.
Under-fives can enjoy sensory play sessions complete with bubble tubes, while bubble machines and music from the Rugby Phoenix Ukulele Band promise to add to the oceanic atmosphere on the night.
Tickets for A Night At Your Museum cost £4 (under-twos free), with timed entry to the event at 5.30pm, 6.30pm and 7.30pm.
