A celebration took place in the park on Monday (28 July), with youngsters from Hayley's Impact Dance School joining park staff and councillors to mark the milestone.

The celebration coincided with national Love Parks Week, which highlights the important role parks and open spaces play in keeping communities happy and healthy.

The Green Flag Awards, organised by environmental charity Keep Britain Tidy, aim to raise standards in parks and open spaces across the country, promoting well-maintained and well-managed parks with excellent facilities.

Cllr Dr Mark Williams, Rugby Borough Council portfolio holder for sustainable environment, said: "Winning a Green Flag Award for a seventh year in a row is a great testament to the hard work and dedication of our staff, volunteers and residents, who all play a part in making Caldecott Park a place Rugby can be proud of."
