Organised by Rugby Borough Council and Rugby FM, ParkFest takes place at Caldecott Park on Saturday 23 August and showcases Rugby's freshest musical talent.

A host of live acts take to the stage throughout the day, including Rugby favourites Cream Ov Da Crop, who have just released new EP, 1 Night Only.

Other live acts include guitarist Arron, singer Leanne Lal, and Audiio Narxx, while DJ sets come from Kadia Khan and Darren Pottinger.

ParkFest reaches its peak with a live set from Kingsland Road, the five-piece boy band featuring Rugby's Joe 'Connor' Conaboy.

After shooting to fame on last year's series of the X Factor, Kingsland Road have built a strong following and released new single Dirty Dancer this week - with a debut album set to follow in the new year.

The band have embarked on a nationwide tour to promote the single - with major gigs in London, Birmingham and Glasgow - but despite a hectic schedule, have made time to headline ParkFest.

Cllr Heather Timms, Rugby Borough Council portfolio holder for culture, said: "ParkFest provides the perfect showcase for Rugby's young music talent.

"It's important young artists have the opportunity to play  in front of an audience, and Caldecott Park provides the perfect stage for a live musical event."

ParkFest also includes children's rides, face-painting and bouncy castles.

The free event, hosted by Rugby FM presenter Jason Moss, runs from 1pm to 7pm.
