Rugby Borough Council is here to help.

If you are unable to access food supplies you can contact us. But before you do, please consider these alternatives.

NHS extra vulnerable list

If you have received a letter from the NHS instructing you to stay at home for 12 weeks, you should call the number on the letter. You will get help with food and medical supplies if you need it, and we will contact you to see how you are getting on.

Your household

If there are people in your household who can help you get the supplies that you need, please ask them. They are in the best position to understand what you need and to look after you.

Home deliveries

Most supermarkets offer home delivery services, and local independent businesses may also be able to deliver.

Family, friends and trusted neighbours

Your family, friends and neighbours may also be able to help you. Most will be prepared to run errands ar buy essential supplies. At times like these we need neighbourhoods to support each other.

Community groups

Are you part of a church or temple, or sports club, or another group or organisation? Other members may well be prepared to help and a number of organisations have prepared ways to support their membership. Why not get in touch and see?

Community networks

Across Rugby, neighbourhood Whatsapp groups, Facebook groups and parish councils have set up community support. Is there one in your area that can help you?

Your ward councillor

Are you in touch with your ward councillor? They may well be able to contact a community network on your behalf.
