Hundreds flock to a Night at Your Museum
The free Nuts and Bolts Night celebrated Rugby's innovative engineering past, present and future, and included a host of fun activities and workshops.
Visitors were welcomed by robot performer, Zios the Hydronoid, before exploring a range of engineering-inspired activities.
The construction zone challenged budding builders to create with Lego and Meccano, while science clubs run by Imagineering gave visitors the chance to send messages by Morse code and lift weights with a hydraulic arm.
The event also included a 3D printing workshop, sculptor Jim Bond's range of crazy drawing machines, and performance poetry.
Visitors could also create robot masks and jet packs at an art workshop, and contribute to Art Lab's giant, machine-inspired collage.
Jessica Hartshorn, Rugby Art Gallery and Museum's learning and outreach officer, said: "We welcomed around 1,000 visitors to the Nuts and Bolts Night, with people of all ages coming along to join in the fun.
"There was so much to see and do at the event, and I'm delighted so many people enjoyed a night at their museum."
The Nuts and Bolts Night took place on Friday 23 May.
