Ministry of science returns for half term show

THE MINISTRY of Science Live show returns to Rugby this half term for an anarchic approach looking at the inventors and engineers who have shaped and inspired the world that we live in.
10 October 2016

Following a successful first visit last year, for four shows at the Rugby World Cup Fanzone, the show returns to wow Rugbeians and inspire the next generation of scientists.

From liquid nitrogen frozen flowers to hydrogen bottle rockets, Buzz Aldrin to Virgin Galactic, a cat food tin to the hovercraft, the discovery of methane to the invention of the battery, the show covers the ordinary and the out of the ordinary in a non stop explosive show.

Featuring a guest voice appearance from X Factor’s Peter Dickson, the super talented presenters will take the audience on a journey using brilliantly designed demonstrations with a few loud bangs to lead the way.

Cllr Heather Timms, Rugby Borough Council portfolio holder for growth and investment, said: "The Ministry of Science Live brought four brilliant shows to Rugby last year, all of which were fantastically received.

"The return of the show this year will brighten up the half term holidays.

Where else in Coventry and Warwickshire can you see a human cannon?"

The show takes place at the BENN Hall on Wednesday 26 October at 2pm.

Tickets are £12 and are available from the BENN Hall. Call the Box Office on 01788 533719, pop in or book online.
