The exhibition, organised by Rugby Borough Council, takes place on Saturday 7 September, offering visitors the chance to speak with experts from a wide range of bereavement services.

Exhibitors include funeral directors, stone masons, solicitors, florists and caterers, while visitors can find out about the benefits of funeral plans and the range of coffins and memorials on offer.

Rainsbrook CrematoriumThe exhibition, which runs from 10am to 3pm, also includes information about bereavement support, religious services and civil funerals.

During the event, visitors can take a 'behind the scenes' tour of the crematorium and its Green Flag Award-winning grounds, and speak to members of the council's bereavement services team.

Cllr Howard Roberts, Rugby Borough Council portfolio holder for environment and public realm, said: "Making arrangements for a funeral following the loss of a loved one can be incredibly difficult, so it's comforting to know a wide range of professional services can help to make the process a little easier.

"The funeral exhibition gives residents an opportunity to find out about these services while exploring the facilities at Rainsbrook and the crematorium's award-winning grounds."

Rainsbrook Cemetery and Crematorium was built by Rugby Borough Council and Daventry District Council. Located off Ashlawn Road, the crematorium overlooks the Rainsbrook Valley and its landscaped grounds include memorial gardens and an Armed Forces Memorial Wall.

Rugby Borough Council's bereavement services team has been awarded the 'gold standard' under the Institute of Cemetery and Crematorium Management's Charter for the Bereaved.
